P.S. Many of you have asked if this incredible image is available as a poster. As I’m just sharing it, you’ll have to go to the source to make inquiries about merch. Here is the link to the Cymascope Store. I don’t see these images for sale, yet, but they have other ones available in prints or canvases.
Have you thought about using the pictures of the notes as wall art? Because I’m in love.
I plan to paint them (hopefully soon) – just have to think about the medium/scheme. Love when art interferes with science!
I would love to see your paintings as they unfold, richie stearns
How do I buy a copy of this?
Is here somewhere to buy a POSTER of this ?
love it …. wall paper or wide screens in the doctors/ dentist …..
Where can I get a poster of this for my music room?
I’m just sharing this image, it’s not mine, so can’t help you out on posters, I’m afraid. I agree, though, a poster of this would be awesome! Try going to the link in the post: those are the people who made and own the image.
Drummer Hoff fired it off! My favorite book as a kid. My dad bought it for my kids before he passed. Also love this, so gorgeous.
I’m glad someone got the reference! It was one of my favorites as well. I was quite taken with the illustration style – I remember trying to copy the drawings. Ed Emberley!

I’m curious as to how a musical melody or chords would look in a bowl of water…being harmonic and counterpoint frequencies by definition.
What a lovely extension of Masaru Emoto’s work. Just beautiful.
Beautiful, of course. Can others replicate this demonstration? Are the patterns always the same? What other variables are there?
